• Tractel Tracrod Mobile Anchor System for Confined Spaces

The Tracrod is a compact, lightweight and movable anchor point for two users of 150kg each, with a working height of 1.5mtr, designed to enable access via manholes

Ideal for applications where there is need for regular vertical access, such as confined spaces, pipes and sewer access.  This is an ideal solution where there is a need to access several identical areas.  The stainless steel bases are installed permanently at each site and the lightweight aluminium rod is then easily transported between sites

To install it ready for use, the Tracrod is inserted into the stainless steel base which is secured in place permenantly in a manhole.  It can be set up and removed within seconds

The head of the Tracrod is equipped with two anchor points

As an option, it can be fitted with a bracket and Blocfor Fall Arrest Block with Recovery Winch

  Available in the following options:-

  • The support mount is fastened using 12 mm chemical anchor fasteners and does not require any special tools

Available extras (please contact us for pricing):-

  • Securing plate (207368) – can be used if you need to put more fixings in and to spread the distance between the fixings (e.g if you are fixing into brick instead of solid concrete)
  • 5cm thick Spacer block (207358) – If you want to mount the support so that it sites away from the wall slightly.  This might be to stop the Tracrod clashing with a lip at the top of a manhole for example
