• Tool@rrest Global Pinned-Head Ratchet & Socket Set

In line with the recommendations of industry bodies Tool@rrest Global provide a number of unique, specific work at height products such as the pinned sockets for ratchets and torque wrenches.  Evidence shows that standard 'ball release' sockets even with the ratchet/torque wrench tethered and firmly connected to the operator, are frequently involved in dropped tool incidents because the socket can be accidently released during every day work.  In contrast, the Tool@rrest Global pinned socket system prevents this accidental disconnect and the potentially lethal impact of a falling socket

  • Traditional 'ball release' sockets present a serious risk when working at height
  • Sockets can be accidently disengaged during every day working conditions, even if the ratchet is tethered securely
  • Tool@rrest pinned socket sets replace the exposed handle release with a recessed side release pin on the socket itself
  • Works to eliminate accidental release during ratchet operation
  • The pinned release mechanism means the socket will not disengage on impact
